The project is to design an administrative center for the Yifeng government, together with an exhibition center and a hotel. Yifeng is a city that is famous for its beautiful nature and stones.
The project will be a landmark of the town. During the design process, an organic form that represents the nature and the stone of the area is chosen. Instead of providing a symmetrical design, which is still favored for government buildings in China, we decided to generate something that is new, modern, and most importantly, suits the actual needs and the analysis of the functions.
The combined functions will attract a mixed population, which, in return, will hopefully bring a new spirit to the area.
