Masterplan for the Wei River District in Xi’an, China

Wei River is located in the north part of the city, and bordering a newly developed suburb area. The masterplan is to generate a new concept of connecting the city of Xi’an and its suburban areas, as part of the metropolitan development plan of the city.

The current usage of the area
The newly developed area with mixed usage combining business, public greenery, and housing
Different themes within the area help to attract a diversed groups of residents
The planned high-speed train station will help to attract investiments into the area
