Born in Xi’an, China, based in Berlin, Germany.
Architect by training, I moved to Germany in my mid 20s to pursue a PhD with specialization in healthcare building design.
For me architecture is an interesting a way to understand us as humans. It reflects and even shapes the way that we spend our lives in different spaces.
When we are ill, the role of the building suddenly weights more, as we become not only visitors or residents but also patients that await cure and comfort. I want to be part of the greater good that contributes making those moments prettier.
In my free time, I like reading, especially about history, economics, and of course science fiction.
